OurVineyards

Lovers Leap Vineyards and Winery is a family owned, fully operational, 60 acre farm containing 25+ acres of vineyards. Owned by the Sivinski family, and located in the heart of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, the Vineyard sits atop a limestone base providing vital minerals and nutrients to the soil which are similar to those found in the Bordeaux region of France, where some of the world's finest wines are made. There are four red varietals and four whites, all of which give us the ability to create interesting combinations or "blends" that effectively express the terroir and climate of Central Kentucky as well as our winemaking style. A good portion of the vines were planted in 1994 and are in the prime of life therefore, producing fruit with robust and concentrated character. This premium quality fruit coming from the vineyard is a winemaker's dream, as there is a level of excellence already established at each harvest.  The vineyard is painstakingly nurtured and maintained by hand all season long to ensure the vitality of the vines.

Pet Policy:

We have two people-friendly Golden Retrievers on our farm and at the vineyards and winery.  But we must ask anyone traveling with their pets to please keep them in your vehicle while you are here for the protection of you, your pets and ours. If you have the option of leaving your pet at home, that would be recommended. In the interest of safety we must be firm with this policy.

 Thank you for your understanding!

 About Us:

Lovers Leap Vineyards & Winery is owned by David and Patty Sivinski along with President, Brian Sivinski. The Sivinski family is committed to producing some of the highest quality wines in the state of Kentucky.

The Lovers Leap vineyards were originally planted on our 60 acre farm in 1994 and consist of over 25 acres of grapes with 8 different varietals: White grape varieties are Vidal Blanc, Cayuga White, Aromella  and Vignoles. Red grape varieties are Cynthiana/Norton, Chambourcin, Crimson Cabernet and Petite Pearl.

We are often asked if we bring in grape varieties that we don't grow; the answer is "Yes." Our love and passion for wine expands out into the worldwide offering of wine grapes and we aspire to continuously bring in the highest quality grape varieties available. Currently, the  Lovers Leap Barrel aging facility houses wines made from grapes known all over the world. Slated for bottling within the next few years are: Tempranillo, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Merlot and Syrah, just to name a few. These wines as well as the reds we grow are aged in barrels made from American, Kentucky and French oak.

Our facilities consist of everything required to bring you the highest quality wines possible. We also have a large tasting room, a very cozy lounge and a 180 degree wrap around deck for our visitors .

While here, you can experience the entire wine making process from vine to bottle while being guided on our tour with the winemaker or his assistants.  Enjoy a glass of wine as your tour guide explains and educates you about our wines and the winemaking process.  Our hospitality is only matched by the stunning views of our vineyard which comes right up to our front door.

We would be thrilled to have you and yours as our guests!
